Behind
the lens
North Light Studio is my photography practice, based in New Jersey. Most of what you see here was made on the road: a few days on the Santorini caldera, a clear morning on the Acropolis, the rim of the Grand Canyon, and the streets of Philadelphia in between.
I work with the light that is already there, and I would rather wait for it than force it. That means unhurried shoots, early starts when the place calls for it, and frames that look the way the moment felt.
Travel, landscape, and architecture are the heart of the work. Portrait and headshot sessions are open by request while that side of the portfolio grows.
